The Forbidden Cave is a passageway to Neptune's Lagoon. Do not enter the Forbidden Cave. It is forbidden.

A tidepool and steep rock walls block the entrance to the Forbidden Cave.

ask mongo Dear Mongo: Last year my husband passed through the Forbidden Cave to get a good look at Neptune's Lagoon. Once inside the cave I saw the rock walls come alive, and 'arms' reached out and pulled him into the rocks. I have not seen him since. No one believes me when I tell them what happened.

An hour later he emerged from another cave, the Magic Cave, and he appeared to be about 10 years older. He claims he travelled into the future and spent 10 years there before getting sucked back. No one believes him but I saw it happen with my own eyes. Please don't reveal the time travelling phenomenon that can occur in the Bandon Vortex. We don't want hundreds or maybe thousands of time travel enthusiasts flocking to Bandon every year, holding conventions and filling up all the hotel rooms and vacation rentals. Please keep it a secret.
